We are looking for a Senior Proposal Manager to join our team to support a variety of business development assignments, ranging from highly strategic proposals to smaller proposals.

Each day will present different activities and opportunities as you help position Intrepid for success in our growth efforts. To accomplish this, the Senior Proposal Manager reports to the Director, Business Development and is responsible for:

• Leading Intrepid’s proposal development efforts in support of the capture of contracts in excess of $100 million dollars, IDIQs and Task Orders.
• Supporting simultaneous Capture activities across multiple and Business Units.
• Providing excellent oral and written communication skills developing creative solutions that tackle complex challenges.
• Advising Intrepid’s senior leadership on trends and techniques to continually improve proposal products and marketing materials.
• Continuously monitoring proposal development activities to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.

Your day-to-day work will include:

• Interfaces daily with Capture Team to understand strategies and develop an annual business development plan.
• Assessing pipeline data and information from Intrepid’s Customer Relationship Management system (CRM) to ensure adequate resourcing of proposal efforts.
• Engaging in Capture discussions and strategies.
• Analyzing and understanding the RFP requirements and developing a proposal plan that coordinates to Capture.
• Establishing the appearance and layout of each proposal.
• Work with SMEs in obtaining technical approach and other specific supporting data for responding to RFP sections.
• Leading the development of white papers, RFIs, or other influencing documents, as needed.
• Developing a compliance matrix, initiating a proposal preparation/review schedule, ensuring compliance across the proposal, and driving teams to meet proposal schedule deadlines and deliverables, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality proposals.
• Preparing government data calls, prepare templates and color reviews presentations for RFI, RFQ, RFP, TO proposals.
• Leading the proposal team, including subject matter experts, writers, and graphic designers, to develop a compelling proposal that meets customer needs and requirements.
• Leading proposal kickoff meetings and proposal tag-ups.
• Coordinating and/or writing past performance and coordinating Past Performance Questionnaires
• Conducting final edits by reviewing documentation for grammar, accuracy, organization, and spelling.
• Writing specific sections of the proposal as necessary, to include the executive summary.
• Developing and implementing proposal management processes and procedures that are congruent with the Capture processes.
• Other duties as assigned.

At a minimum you should have:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a business, marketing, communications, information technology, engineering, or other relevant field.
• An active SECRET clearance or the ability to obtain.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience performing in proposal development, with at least 2 years of experience in a leadership role.
• Knowledge of federal proposal best practices, industry standards, and federal proposal development
• Writing, editing, and communication skills, with the ability to write and edit technical approaches.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficient skills in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint).
• Willingness to flex work schedule to meet proposal objectives.
• Solid written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate information and ideas in writing or speaking, so others will understand.
• Ability to speak to presentations either in-person or via TEAMS.

Work Type: Hybrid (Remote 50%. In-Office Huntsville, AL)
Estimated Pay: $135,000-$140,000

The provided salary range serves as a broad reference. However, Intrepid takes various factors into account when establishing base salary offers, including the position's scope and responsibilities, as well as the candidate's experience, education, skills, and prevailing market conditions.
